In celebration of my housemate’s birthday, we organised a bottomless brunch at OXBO Bankside.
For £42 you get a four courses – with starters and dessert limitless – and bottomless bubbles for 2 hours. The Open Kitchen gives you a few different egg dishes to choose from, I was happy to see that I could get my Egg’s Benedict gluten free!
When you are ready, flag down your server and they will get your mains on the go. You get 3 dishes to share. Our dishes included a meat, pasta and a seafood plate.
At any stage you can help yourself to the Chef’s Traders Tables of starters and desserts. There is a variety of starters – most of which are gluten free! The dessert is not a flush in the GF stakes, but there is still a few desserts that are fine to eat. And there is a cheese board!
Bottomless brunch can get a bit dangerous, your glass is never empty, so you can’t really keep count of your Prosecco intake. For those of us who don’t like the taste of Prosecco straight up, OXBO provide a cute little nook full of delicious tidbits for your drink.
OXBO Bankside can be found inside the Hilton London Bankside, a short walk from Blackfriars Station. The food is fresh, healthy and delicious and the servers are super attentive!
