Remembrance Day in London 2013
One of the most important dates in world history is 11 November.
At the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day of the eleventh month the official ceasefire of the First World War was declared.
The day is known by different names throughout the world – Veterans Day in America, Armistice Day in France, Belgium and New Zealand, and Remembrance Day in most Commonwealth countries.
Relaxing Weekend in Cumbria / Lancaster
Last week I was up in Lancaster for a training course for work, and as I had not yet been away from London I thought I would stay up north for a weekend and see what country life is like 🙂
The Tale of the Infected Finger
2 weeks ago I started noticing my finger swelling up.
I went to the doctor who gave me some antibiotics and said see how it goes.
As you can see, my finger swelled up to about the size of a balloon.
